A higher-strength Benzoyl Peroxide acne treatment in the same smooth, fast-absorbing gel formula as the 2.5% — but with increased concentration for those whose skin has acclimated to Benzoyl Peroxide and is ready for a more targeted approach. Face Reality's proprietary Micro-Smooth Technology™ combines micronized Benzoyl Peroxide with Sodium Hyaluronate and Bisabolol to deliver better penetration with noticeably less dryness and irritation than traditional formulas.

Who is this perfect for?

Best suited for normal and oily skin types dealing with inflamed breakouts, non-inflamed breakouts, blackheads, whiteheads, or folliculitis who have already acclimated to Benzoyl Peroxide. Recommended for Fitzpatrick Types 1–3. Fitzpatrick Types 4 and higher should only move to 5% after fully acclimating to the 2.5% strength, only if needed, and with well-hydrated skin. Not for dry skin types. Not for use by those with a known sensitivity or allergy to Benzoyl Peroxide. Avoid during pregnancy or nursing.

How does it work?

Micronized Benzoyl Peroxide at 5% — ground to an ultrafine particle size — applies more evenly and penetrates the pore more deeply and consistently than traditional Benzoyl Peroxide forms. Inside the pore it works to visibly clear congestion and help reduce the appearance of blemishes. Sodium Hyaluronate attracts and holds moisture to keep skin comfortable during use, and Bisabolol soothes to further minimize irritation.
